Decorative concrete in Davidson

Davidson work is characteristically small in area and high in detail. Village-side properties have compact rear gardens, mature trees and existing hardscape that new work has to relate to, which means the colour and texture decision is constrained by what is already there rather than open. Tree roots are a real factor in this part of the county and they change what is possible: cutting significant roots to gain a level slab can damage a mature tree badly enough that it comes out later, so we will sometimes recommend a smaller area, a different alignment, or a surface that floats over roots rather than excavating through them. Lake-side properties nearby bring the opposite problem — slope, and the retaining and drainage that goes with it.

What a visit here looks like

We walk the space, measure it, check where water currently runs and work out how concrete physically reaches the area — which in Davidson is often the deciding cost factor rather than the size of the pour. We look at any existing concrete on the property too, because how it has performed tells us more about the ground than anything else available. Then we settle layout, finish and colour before producing a number, because quoting decorative work without those decisions made is guesswork.

Tell us what the space is for, and we will tell you what will work in it.

Site visits are free, and we will say plainly when a smaller or cheaper option is the better one.
