Decorative concrete in Concord

Concord divides cleanly into two kinds of decorative job. The newer subdivisions to the south and west sit on engineered fill, which is generally fine to build on but which continues to consolidate for several years after a house is completed — so on a property under about five years old we look carefully at what the existing flatwork has already done before deciding a base specification. Around the older centre, the stock is a century older, gardens are narrower, and the work is smaller-scale restoration and replacement of paths, entries and courtyards where matching the existing character matters more than the size of the pour.

What a visit here looks like

We walk the space, measure it, check where water currently runs and work out how concrete physically reaches the area — which in Concord is often the deciding cost factor rather than the size of the pour. We look at any existing concrete on the property too, because how it has performed tells us more about the ground than anything else available. Then we settle layout, finish and colour before producing a number, because quoting decorative work without those decisions made is guesswork.

Tell us what the space is for, and we will tell you what will work in it.

Site visits are free, and we will say plainly when a smaller or cheaper option is the better one.
