Decorative concrete in Concord
Concord divides cleanly into two kinds of decorative job. The newer subdivisions to the south and west sit on engineered fill, which is generally fine to build on but which continues to consolidate for several years after a house is completed — so on a property under about five years old we look carefully at what the existing flatwork has already done before deciding a base specification. Around the older centre, the stock is a century older, gardens are narrower, and the work is smaller-scale restoration and replacement of paths, entries and courtyards where matching the existing character matters more than the size of the pour.
