Six areas, covered properly

One crew across Mecklenburg, Union, Cabarrus and Gaston. This is what we can service well rather than a radius drawn to look impressive — concrete is time-sensitive from the moment it is batched, and distance eats the window available to stamp it.

Why location changes the specification

01Six areas we genuinely cover

We work across Mecklenburg, Union, Cabarrus and Gaston counties from a single crew, which puts a practical limit on how far we travel. The list here is what we can service properly rather than an aspirational map. If you are just outside it, call anyway and we will tell you honestly whether we can do the job well from where we are.

02Ground conditions change across the metro

The Charlotte region sits on Piedmont soils that vary considerably over short distances — residual clay over weathered rock in some places, deep soft topsoil on former farmland in others, and engineered fill across most of the subdivisions built in the last twenty-five years. That variation is the main reason base specification is a site decision rather than a standard. Two identical patios five miles apart can need genuinely different preparation.

03Age of the property tells you a lot

Pre-war properties have narrow gardens, mature trees with real root systems, existing hardscape with character worth matching, and difficult access. Subdivisions from the 1990s onward have open access, generous space and fill that is still consolidating. Those two situations lead to different recommendations about base, about layout and often about whether to replace or overlay, and it is worth knowing which one you have before anybody quotes.

04What travel actually costs

Concrete is time-sensitive from the moment it is batched, so distance from the plant affects the working window as well as the haul cost — particularly in summer, when it also compresses the time available to stamp. That is a real constraint on decorative work rather than a line item, and it is why we would rather cover a smaller area properly than claim a radius we cannot serve well.

Tell us what the space is for, and we will tell you what will work in it.

Site visits are free, and we will say plainly when a smaller or cheaper option is the better one.
